We are excited to welcome back the Plett Polo Festival on the 29th December! This year’s 18 goal match will be, Plett vs “Best of the Rest” place your bets because the competition is on!

We would love for you to join us for a day of fun and festivities, so unpack your summer dresses and dust of your sandals and come enjoy a lovely day out at the polo with us.

The day will be the same format as last year with a few improvements to ensure you have an experience to remember. The match will once again be held on the Baron field. There will be allocated picnic sites, around the field, that are totally self-catering. Picnic food boxes are on offer and will be delivered to your picnic site, however they will need to be pre-ordered. More information on this will be sent at a further date.

WHATS ON OFFER

Picnic sites:

Each picnic spot is 4m x 4m, which allows you plenty of room to set up your own chairs and gazebo. Access to porta loos will be available.

Each picnic site is permitted to have 10 guests per site.

You can buy up to 5 extra guest tickets per site for R200 per person.

For a charge of R500 we will offer chairs and an umbrella to be set up at your picnic site before you arrive. It is important to note that the chairs and umbrellas are limited, with 100 chairs we can only do 10 boxes, so it will be done on a first come, first serve basis, and will only be confirmed once payment has been received.

• West Bank Picnic Sites- R6 000

• East Field Picnic Sites – R3 000

• Additions to picnic sites:

• Chairs and umbrella set up – R500 (limited to 10 sites)

• Extra people – R200 per person (maximum 5 per site)

• Bring your own food and drinks, or order a ready-made picnic box from scottys

Staff will be available to help you carry your tents, chairs, food, and drinks to your picnic site. A discretionary tip for these staff is welcome.

General entry:

R100 per person for entry.

Bon App will be setting up a bar and food tent in the central section of the east side of the field. They will be open to serve food and drinks until 9pm. Those with the general entry tickets are welcome to watch the game from there however none of your own food or drink will be

permitted in this area.
